Coronavirus Response
Preventing the Spread of COVID-19
Bare Essentials Childcare takes the health and well-being of our children and families very seriously.
We strive to keep everyone safe and to be a service in the community that follows the guidelines of the CDC as well as state and local officials in order to hold this responsibility to the upmost importance.
Preventive Actions
Hand Washing
Hand washing with soap and water as well as other existing sanitization practices will be enhanced thoroughly and often.
Face Masks
Face masks will be required for any adult and child over the age of five entering the building to keep children safe.
Health Screenings
Wellness checks will be performed upon arrival and throughout the day. Parents of any unwell child will be notified immediately.
Classroom Access Limited
Parents and families must remain in the common areas for drop off and pickup to minimize the risk of spreading the virus.
Taking Temperatures
We are screening everyone (staff, children, parents, visitors, etc.) upon arrival for temperature and other symptoms.
Attendance
The best way to be sure that our students have limited exposure to illness is by keeping children at home when they are sick and/or contagious. We ask that you please watch your child closely and contact your physician if your child appears to be sick. Please remember your child must be kept home if they display any signs of illness.
Virtual Learning
We are striving to support our community as best we can. One way we are doing so is with fun learning resources you can share at home with your child. We offer virtual learning so children can stay safe and continue to learn.
